One week of LAPD helicopters
Every flight observed in community-received ADS-B data from the LAPD helicopter fleet between 9 and 15 August 2026, one day every twenty-four seconds.
Positions are community-received ADS-B. Reception is incomplete and gaps are left blank rather than interpolated, so this undercounts real flying rather than inventing it — every figure here is a floor, not a total.
Brightness is observed seconds overhead, not a count of pings, which is why a single long orbit reads brighter than a fast transit across the same block. Nothing here shows a mission, a call or a purpose.
